An Addicting iPhone Game App – Mr. Aahh!! Review

Posted on: May 28, 2011

I recently received several requests to post a list of my favorite iPhone games. People want to know which games I find the most addicting. Well, in response to all of those requests, I will mention a few right away. They include: Mr. Aahh!!, :Shift:, and Words with Friends.

I have several others that I play on a regular basis too, but these three are my current favorites. There are hundreds of new games being added every day to the App Store, and I try to play a bunch of them each week. Some pique my interest while others seem like copies of other games. Innovation, skill, challenges, creativity and humor are the keys to a successful game. All you need are a few people to start spreading the good word to a few friends and it can take off from there.

Getting back to Mr. Aahh!!.

This is not a brand new game, but it’s definitely challenging. In Mr. Aahh!! you swing on a rope, jump off, and then try to land in the center of a pillar. If you land in the center you’ll receive 1,000 points. If you land very close to the center it’s 500 points, away from the center it’s 100 points and if you barely make it onto the pillar it’s 50 points. If you land in the center consecutively, you’ll double, triple or quadruple your 1,000 points. This is the fastest way to gain lots of points. Sounds easy, right? To make it more challenging the game starts to throw different wind speeds against your swinging guy, making it a little more difficult to land in the center. However, it’s not impossible to reach the center at higher wind speeds. You just have to estimate when to jump off the rope.

This game receives a 5 out 5 stars from me. It has everything going for it: Great graphics, challenges, music and multiple levels to obtain.

I highly recommend this one!
