Are Big Promotions and Improvements Coming to Facebook?

Posted on: May 26, 2011

At a recent eG8 Forum (The High Tech Forum of CEOs) in Paris, France, Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, was hounded by the media about issuing an IPO for Facebook. Zuckerberg responded with a “not yet,” but continued to discuss other growth areas for the future of Facebook.

He stated that games are a big deal on Facebook right now, but the next industries to really explode will be music and then  movies.

Perhaps Zuckerberg is looking at taking a piece of the iTunes pie away from Apple? Hmmm… that will be very interesting to watch! As more companies jump on Facebook to promote their brands and products, they will be looking for more options to improve their businesses. Could music play a big role? Who knows? Zuckerberg might have some more magic up his sleeve.
